CARTIERA S. GIOVANNI

La cartiera San Giovanni è una azienda nata nel lontano giugno 1917. Giovacchino Checchi che è stato il fondatore, grazie alla propria esperienza ma anche all'aiuto e all'impegno dei suoi figli Sirio, Giuseppe, Giulio, Antonio, Ottavio e Mario,  ne ha dato sviluppo e crescita nel settore cartario.

Inizialmente l'azienda produceva diversi tipi di carta (filigrana, da lettere, da disegno, assorbente, filtro etc.) ma l'evoluzione costante e progressiva del mercato e della tecnica industriale hanno sostanzialmente modificato gli indirizzi produttivi della cartiera che oggi è ormai trasformata in un'azienda leader specializzata nella produzione di cartoncino denominato "triplex".

Il cartoncino "triplex" è oggi affermato e apprezzzato per i suoi requisiti altamente qualitativi. Goffredo Checchi, Alberto Checchi e Roberta Checchi ne curano il settore produttivo ed amministrativo.

Cartiera San Giovanni was born in june 1917, founded by Giovacchino Checchi. His personal experience combined whit the precious help and the skill of his sons, Sirio, Giuseppe, Giulio, Antonio, Ottavio e Mario, let the company grow and improve its market quota in the paper market during these years.

At the beginning the company produced various kind of paper (watermark, paper letter, drawing paper, blotting paper, pulp filter etc.), but depending to the continuos market evolution and improvement of the industry technology, cartiera San Giovanni kept its production and marketing strategy update with the era's needs, arriving at the today's layout, which let the company be a leader in the "triplex" production market.

"Triplex" is the kind of cardboard used for the playing cards production; it is an high quality product, and is considered one of the best product on the playing cards market.

Now, Goffredo Checchi, Alberto Checchi e Roberta Checchi are managing the production and administrative sectors of the company.
